The Idealstor 1 Bay is available in two different configurations - SATA offering data transfer rate upto 300 MB/s and PATA offering data transfer rate upto 50 MB/s. Each unit functions as your backup/media server and target for backup data. Each disk can be removed for offsite storage allowing you to backup to disk without having to use tape for offsite storage and archival.
