iBac 5.0 is a powerful yet easy to use data protection solution that will change the way you look at backing up your data. iBac 5.0 offers you a simplified management console with wizard driven job creation tools and one click management options. The following screen shots will walk you through a few of the main features and set up options. Live web demonstrations are available and can be scheduled with an Idealstor engineer if you are interested in taking a closer look.
The main page of iBac 5.0 is designed to logically lay out all the options you will need to get started.
- You can add the local target machine to manage jobs and sources.
- In addition, you can add a remote target machine to remotely manage jobs and sources on that machine

Once a target is added, the iBac backup wizard will walk you through the steps to configure each individual backup.
- Perform all of the functions from the main screen, top menu or side bar.
- Schedule backups and/or restores for a specific time or frequency.

Adding a source server is just as easy as adding a target server
- Simply click on "Add Source" and then supply machine specific info like name and/or IP address

Creating new backup and restore jobs using the iBac 5.0 backup wizard is easy to do and can be done in a matter of seconds.
- Simply click "Backup" or "Restore" from the main iBac screen to get started

When selecting a target for each backup and restore job, we go out of our way to thoroughly explain each option. The goal here is to make using iBac easy and painless.

Email notification can be set up for each job. Email results can be sent to multiple addresses and you have the option to choose to send results of all jobs or just the jobs that terminated.

- Email notification parameters such as setting the SMTP server, port number and how logs are sent out can all be configured under the Configuration option on the main screen of iBac 5.0.

iBac 5.0 lets you quickly monitor every job through the Jobs tab.
- By selecting the job you can see complete job statistics such as whether the job is submitted, in progress or complete
- Job Details, Options and Activity are a tab click away and are available for each job
