Warranty Information
The warranty information applies to product sold to end-users by Idealstor or one of its authorized Value-Added Resellers (VARs) or Distributors. For additional warranty details and post-warranty service/support options, please contact your local Idealstor Representative.

Idealstor reserves the right to choose, at its sole discretion, Express Exchange of the whole unit or failing parts.
Hard Drives are not covered by Idealstor warranty. They are covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
Drive Caddys are covered under limited warranty for 90 days.
Limited Warranty Claim Process
Express Exchange
For products that require repair during the term of this Limited Warranty,
Idealstor will arrange for shipment of a replacement product or parts at
Idealstor's discretion on an Express Exchange basis. The target ship date of
the Rapid Exchange Product or Parts is two(2) business days after receipt of
the call.
Rapid Exchange Products or Parts will be provided by contacting the Idealstor
Customer Support Center who will:
1. Diagnose the problem
2. Ship a replacement Product of Part to the End User
3. Issue a return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number
Express Exchange shipments require a credit card deposit/authorization for security
purposes. Once the defective Product or Parts is received by Idealstor, the credit
card authorization will be voided. In the event the defective Product or Part is
not received by Idealstor within seven(7) business days after receiving a
replacement Product or Part, Idealstor will process the credit card deposit.
The defective Product or Part must be returned to a Idealstor-specified receiving
location with the RMA number clearly indicated on the outside of the shipping
package.
Replacement Product or Parts shall be furnished on an exchange basis and may be
either new or reconditioned as new. Removal, shipment to Idealstor, shipping
insurance and loss or damage of the failed Product or Part, as well as the
installation and configuration of the replacement Product or Part are the
responsibility of the End User. Products, Parts and Repairs shipped to the End
User by Idealstor shall be freight pre-paid by Idealstor. Responsibility for
losses or damage shall be on Idealstor. Idealstor shall not be responsible for
any handling fees, import duties or tariffs or delays as a result of customs.
